JustRight 5 mm stapler minimizes incision size
At less than half the size of all others, the JustRight stapler is the world’s only 5 mm stapling instrument, providing advantages for surgeons and patients.
For minimally invasive surgical procedures, many stapler designs require a 12 mm trocar for access. However, in infants and children, there is significant emphasis on smaller incisions for both pain issues and cosmetic concerns. Arguably more importantly, there is also little working space to introduce and manipulate such a large device.
Simplifies clinical workflow
The JustRight 5 mm stapler can be moved from port to port without the need to upsize, simplifying workflow and enabling versatility of port placement, and can be reloaded for multiple uses within a single procedure. It provides secure sealing Classic B formation of 2 mm titanium staples in 4 rows of 6 staggered staples for a secure staple line.- Access: The 5 mm shaft can get into tighter spaces than 12 mm staplers.
- Maneuverability: The 5 mm shaft provides flexibility in stapler placement, allowing for more direct approaches to the surgical site.
- Visualization: The 5 mm jaw takes up less of the visible field in the scope than larger stapling devices, allowing for better visualization of the surgical field.
The system easily fits down any 5 mm cannula and provides durability, flexibility, and ease of use.
- Fits into small cavities: The 60-mL and 80-mL sac sizes will fully deploy during laparoscopic surgery in small spaces.
- No tears:
The EcoSac 5 mm Tissue Retrieval System features a rip-stop nylon sac that won’t tear, even if punctured with scissors or cautery. - Prevents leaks: The strong polyurethane coating prevents leaking, and the sac becomes translucent when wet for greater visibility.
- Easily manipulated: With the unique size and drawstring closure, the sac can be easily manipulated and retrieved with a standard 5 mm grasper.

Important Safety Information
The JustRight® 5mm Stapler is intended for use in abdominal, gynecologic, pediatric, and thoracic surgery for resection, transection, and creation of anastomosis.
Do not use the JustRight® 5mm Stapler 2.0 mm staples on any tissue that compresses to less than 0.75 mm in thickness, on any tissue that cannot comfortably compress to 1.0 mm or on the aorta. Do not use the JustRight® 5mm Stapler on tissue such as liver, hepatic vasculature, spleen, pancreas, or biliary structures where compressibility is such that closure of the instrument would be destructive. Do not use the JustRight® 5mm Stapler where adequacy of hemostasis cannot be verified visually after application. Do not use the JustRight® 5mm Stapler with a staple line reinforcement material. Adequate staple formation cannot be verified when using staple line buttressing materials such as PERI-STRIPS or SEAMGUARD products.
