CarePad is an innovative system for positioning the patient during surgical procedures performed with traditional, robotic or laparoscopic techniques. It allows Trendelenburg positioning of the patient on the operating bed in a safe, easy and quick manner, with inclination pushed up to 45 degrees.

The material

The mat is made of slow-return, high-density viscoelastic memory material that adapts to the shape and weight of the patient to prevent slippage, even without shoulder pads, strips or adhesives. Its open-cell composition provides thermal insulation while keeping the patient's body temperature constant, and its anti-decubitus function reduces the risk of post-operative redness, irritation and pressure ulcers. Pressure is redistributed uniformly over the entire mat.

Patented repositioning, one size

A patented solution allows the velcro straps to be repositioned along the entire length of the mattress, for a perfect, customized lock to the bed bars. Its 90 cm length allows correct positioning of patients regardless of height and weight, up to 250 kg, and a single code simplifies orders and storage.

The kit

Designed to be complete and versatile, pre-assembled and ready for use in a few seconds. The kit includes the CarePad mat with repositionable velcro side straps, 2 additional longer straps for beds without side bars or extra fixing, a patient sheet for securing the arms and repositioning, and a chest strap with no buttonholes for additional safety.
