New design with rotatable shaft
The new 6.3Fr and 7.5Fr ureterorenoscopes add a rotation function that further improves torque stability, with the cable positioned at the lower part of the handle. They keep the 275° dual deflection, the round working channel with PTFE inner layer and the 670 mm insertion length.

Metal snakebone: maneuverability like a reusable scope
A full-length metal snakebone gives better pushability and consistent deflection from the beginning to the end of the procedure, and protects the round working channel from being squeezed during deflection. The ureterorenoscope deflects 275° up and down, with passive deflection to ease difficult positions. A very short CMOS module allows a smaller deflection radius and a bigger deflection angle.

Kink-resistant working channel
The 1.2 mm round working channel of the ureterorenoscope is a three-layer composite, two polymer layers around a woven metal mesh with a PTFE inner layer. It is kink resistant, smooth for passing accessories, and improves irrigation and suction. Model E versions add a straight working channel with adjustable seal, so laser fibres do not bend and back-flow can be controlled, plus a separate irrigation port with stopcock.

Bright and clear imaging
The ureterorenoscope uses dual LED illumination and a 160,000 pixel CMOS with an advanced image algorithm, a 110° ± 10% field of view and a 3 to 100 mm depth of field. The slim US27F (7.5Fr) fits a 9.5Fr access sheath without sacrificing its 1.2 mm channel. The flexible cystoscope has 4 LEDs and a 640,000 pixel CMOS, a 5.5 mm tip with a 2.4 mm channel and a 380 mm working length.

Video processors
The scopes connect to the EOS-H-01 video processor or the EA100 portable processor, one processor for ureterorenoscopes and cystoscopes. The EA100 has a 13.3 inch touchscreen, DVI and SDI outputs, USB storage, a 7800 mAh battery and a clip for IV pole or desk stand. A short press of the handle button takes a photo and a long press starts or stops video recording.
