CoolSeal Reveal is an open advanced bipolar sealer, divider and dissector from Hologic for vessels up to and including 6 mm. Its 10 cm shaft is designed for access and visibility when space is limited, and it runs on the same 50 W CoolSeal generator.

CoolSeal Reveal for open surgery

When space is limited and visibility of the surgical field is essential, the CoolSeal Reveal open device is tailor-made to perform with precision, sealing vessels up to 6 mm while minimizing the thermal footprint. It has a 10 cm shaft designed for improved access and visibility and ergonomic, inline hemostat-style levers. In adults it is also indicated for open ENT procedures (thyroidectomy, radical neck dissection, parotidectomy), sealing 2 to 3 mm away from thermally sensitive structures such as nerves and parathyroid glands.

Surgeon-controlled sealing pressure The lever opens and closes the jaws, surgeon-controlled with no loading springs, and a latching mechanism ensures correct sealing pressure.

Fast seals, fast cooldown Average seal time is 0.7 seconds, and average cooldown time to 60 °C after one activation is under 2 seconds.
